Iowa is the crossroads of our footprint. I-35 runs north to Minnesota and south to Texas, I-80 runs east and west, and they meet at Des Moines. Practically speaking, that means Rock On equipment is in or near Iowa more often than a map of our headquarters would suggest, which gives us flexibility on timing that a carrier repositioning from farther out cannot match.
Iowa work itself is a mix of highway and roadway aggregate, hot mix support during the paving season and general freight on the interstate lanes. Because we run dry vans and flatbeds alongside our dump fleet, an Iowa customer can hand us more than one kind of load without adding a second carrier.

We are already passing through
Our Minnesota and Texas lanes both run through Iowa on I-35. Capacity that is already moving is capacity we can commit to your job without a repositioning charge baked in.
More than one trailer type
Dump, flatbed and van freight from a single carrier. If your Iowa operation ships more than one kind of load, that consolidates vendors.
Owned fleet, owned shop
60+ company trucks and 75+ trailers backed by our own repair facility, so a mechanical problem in Iowa does not become a week-long hole in your schedule.
