What we collect on this website, why we collect it, where it goes and how to get it removed. Written in plain English, because that is how we do business.

1. Who we are

Rock On Enterprises, Inc., doing business as Rock On Trucks, operates this website. We are a family owned aggregate hauling, material supply and truck repair company based in Waite Park, Minnesota.

Rock On Enterprises, Inc.
3100 7th Street South
Waite Park, MN 56387
Phone: 320-230-2998
Privacy requests: [email protected]

This policy covers rockontrucks.com. It does not cover other companies' websites that we link to, and it does not cover paperwork you complete directly with our office.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Quote requests: company name, your name, email address, phone number, pickup location, delivery location, material or commodity, estimated tons or loads, equipment requested, the date you need it and any job details you type in.
  • Driver and owner operator applications: name, city, phone, email, preferred work state, CDL class, equipment and work experience, previous relevant employers, traffic citations or accidents in the last three years, who referred you and your answers to the remaining application questions. Owner operator applications also collect company name, DOT number, SWIFT number if you have one, interstate authority status and truck or trailer type.
  • Shop and office applications: the position you want, name, city, phone, email, relevant experience and certifications, availability and any comments.
  • Contact, feedback and other forms: your name, contact details and whatever you choose to write in the message.
  • Consent: whether you checked the box agreeing to be contacted by phone or text.

Information collected automatically

  • Pages you view, the page or ad that referred you, and campaign tags carried in the link such as utm parameters, Google click IDs and Meta click IDs.
  • General device information such as your browser user agent and screen width.
  • Random session and visitor identifiers stored in your browser so we can count a visit without knowing who you are.
  • Clicks, scrolling and mouse movement on the page, recorded by the session replay tool described in section 7.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, driver's license images, bank account details or payment card numbers through the forms on this website. Official onboarding paperwork that needs that kind of information is handled through secure e-signature forms or directly with our office.

3. How we collect it

Personal information comes directly from you, when you fill out and submit a form on this site. Nothing is pulled from you in the background beyond the automatic information listed above.

That automatic information is collected by cookies, browser storage and the analytics scripts that load when you open a page. Our cookie notice tells you this on your first visit. Dismissing that notice just hides the notice, it does not switch tracking on or off. Section 7 explains how to limit tracking yourself.

4. Why we use it

  • To price and send freight quotes, and to follow up on them.
  • To review job applications, contact applicants and fill open positions.
  • To answer questions sent through the site and provide customer service.
  • To keep the records a motor carrier is required to keep, including driver qualification records.
  • To measure which pages and ads actually produce quote requests and applications, and to fix the pages that do not work.
  • To protect the site from spam, fake submissions and abuse.

5. Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored in our database hosted by Supabase, a third party database provider, on servers in the United States. When a form comes in, an email notification is also sent to the right Rock On team through Resend, our email delivery provider. The website itself is hosted by Netlify.

Those providers process the information only to run those services for us. They are not allowed to use your information for their own purposes.

6. Who we share it with

Your information goes to the people who need it to do the work you asked for:

  • Rock On staff. Estimating, dispatch, HR, recruiting and management, depending on what you submitted.
  • Service providers. The database, email delivery, hosting, analytics and e-signature providers named in this policy, acting on our instructions.
  • When the law requires it. A valid legal request, or a situation where we need to protect our people, our customers, our rights or our property.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade or hand off your name, phone number or email to other companies for their own marketing.

7. Cookies, analytics & advertising

This site uses cookies and similar browser storage. Some are needed for the site to function. The rest are for measurement and advertising. Here is exactly what is running:

  • Google Analytics 4. Measures traffic, page performance and which pages and buttons lead to quote requests and applications.
  • Meta Pixel. Reports which visits and leads came from our Facebook and Instagram ads, and lets us build advertising audiences so we can reach similar people.
  • Microsoft Clarity. Records session replays and heatmaps of clicks, scrolling and mouse movement so we can see where pages are confusing. Recordings are tied to a random ID, not to your name.
  • Our own event log. We record page views and clicks in our Supabase database against a random visitor ID, with no name attached unless you submit a form.

Your choices

  • Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings, and private or incognito mode limits what any of this can see.
  • Google offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • You can adjust ad preferences inside your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
  • Browser tracking protection and content blockers will stop the session replay and pixel scripts from loading.

Blocking cookies will not stop you from browsing the site or submitting a form. This site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals, because there is no common standard for what a site should do when it sees one.

8. Calls & text messages

Our application forms include a consent checkbox that reads: "I agree that a Rock On Trucks recruiter may contact me by phone or text about opportunities. Message & data rates may apply." When you submit a quote request or contact form with your phone number, you are asking us to get back to you about that request by phone, text or email.

  • Consent to receive texts is not a condition of employment, of being considered for a job or of getting a quote.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or HELP for help.
  • You can also call 320-230-2998 or email [email protected] and ask us to stop contacting you.

We do not sell or share phone numbers collected on this site with third parties for their own marketing or text message campaigns.

9. Employment applications

Application information is used to evaluate you for the position you applied for, to contact you about it and to meet the record keeping rules that apply to a motor carrier. The questions about traffic citations and accidents are there because federal driver qualification rules require a carrier to review that history.

Applications are seen by HR, recruiting and the hiring managers for that role. They are not shared outside the company for any purpose unrelated to hiring.

The forms on this site are a first step. Formal hiring paperwork, including the official application, driving record and background authorizations and onboarding documents, is completed separately through secure e-signature forms or with our office, and is handled under our normal employment record practices rather than through this website.

If you are hired, your application becomes part of your employment and driver qualification file and is kept for as long as federal and state rules require. If you are not hired, you can ask us to delete your application information using the process in section 11.

10. How long we keep it

  • Quote requests and messages: for as long as we need them to serve the customer and to keep normal business and accounting records.
  • Applications: as described in section 9.
  • Analytics and session recordings: on the retention schedules set by each analytics provider.

When we no longer have a business or legal reason to keep something, we delete it or strip it of anything that identifies you.

11. Access, correction & deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject line Privacy Request and tell us what you want: a copy of the information we hold about you, a correction, or deletion. Include the name, phone number and email address you used so we can find the right record. You can also call us or write to the address in section 15.

We will respond within a reasonable time. In some cases we have to keep certain records even after a deletion request, for example driver qualification files and other records a motor carrier is legally required to retain. If that applies to you, we will tell you what we kept and why.

Depending on where you live, state privacy law may give you additional rights. Contact us and we will honor the rights that apply to you.

12. Security

The entire site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Submissions are stored with established hosting and database providers, and access to them is limited to the staff who need it.

No website or database is perfectly secure. Please do not send sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, license images or bank details through website forms or plain email. If we need that information, we will send you a secure form or take it directly.

13. Children's privacy

This website is built for business customers and job seekers, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and none of our forms are directed at them.

If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Meaningful changes will be stated plainly here, not buried in a footnote.
