The “Mini Pete”
The mini Pete is made out of 3 golf carts. The back is two 1960’s Harley Davidson 3 wheel carts. The front is a 1970’s Yamaha. Each engine runs a clutch and belt driven axle with both forward & reverse functions via clockwise and counter clock wise engine rotation. The front engine exhaust exits out the right 5″ chrome stack with internal muffler and the rear engine exhaust exits out the left 5″ chrome stack with internal muffler.Under the hood features an Air compressor and charging system driven by its own 5hp motor. The Chassis feature air ride suspension capable of deflating for trailer attaching and detaching. Complete with working LED lighting thru out the truck with functioning switch controls.
The End Dump is made from scrap aluminum sections and specialized extrusions for the most part. It is all hand made and MIG spool gun welded. It features a working Shurco Shurlok electric tarp system and super slide liner installation. The chassis of the end dump include a full functioning air ride suspension with dump controls, working air tag axle and air tail gate. For raising the tub a genuine 3 stage CAT Hydraulic cylinder is used and operated using compressed air from the mini pete. This unit has been able to handle and dump approximately 2 yards of soil on small jobs around the Rock On Trucks Properties.
Approximately 1600 hours went into building the two units.
Both units are owned and operated by Rock On Trucks, Inc. in Waite Park, MN who’s primary business is aggregate hauling. We use the Mini Peterbilt & end dump primarily for advertising display, parade events, truck driving and instructional reference, MN Tarp and Liner display, and charity events such as toys for tots and food drives where our promoted goal is to fill the end dump to the top!
